Description:

This four Volume Set of "Books for the Country" was published by George Routledge & Sons, London and belonged to my grandmother.  The copyright year is 1865.  The books are in excellent condition.

Plaque of Washington by Charles Calverley

Description:

This bronze bas-relief was purchased by my deceased aunt prior to 1982. I have located 2 other copies: Albany Institute of Art and the Virginia Historical Society. A cast iron type is for sale at http://www.crsculpture.com/artists/charlescalverley  . It’s dated 1877 and is in excellent condition. Size: 17" wide x 21 1/8" high. These are the actual dimensions of the bronze not including the frame. It’s signed: From Houdon's Bust by C. Calverley, Sc. 1877.
